After Anke and Gilberto had danced together with the SALSA CON CLAVE dance company led by Víctor and Gaby in Mexico City and had finished second at the Salsa Championship in 2005, they decided to settle in Europe to teach and appear as performers.
Known for their dynamic Quebradita shows (Mexican acrobatic dance), they enthused and inspired their audiences at numerous congresses.
They travel to New York at least once a year to learn from the best salsa instructors in the world, among them Eddie Torres, Yambulee, Karisma, to name just a few.
Their classes are coined by didactically well structured, creative turn patterns that they teach with joy, dedication and enthusiasm.
Anke and Gilberto are particularly proud of their participation in the World Salsa Championships in Orlando, Florida, in 2007, organized by Albert Torres. They took 14th place out of 35 couples dancing on1.
Gilberto: „Anke and I have been dancing salsa since 2004. The Championships were a great experience and a reflection of our fast development. Next year we will participate again and we will do our best."
