Gilberto has been “into salsa” since 2004. One of his first teachers was adolfo indacochea, first dancer of the eddie torres dance company. His technique is inspired by tropical gem on1 and eddie torres, santo rico, karisma on2.
Together with anke they took the 2nd place of the salsa competition in mexico city in 2005. To add to his salsa-level he participates at the most important salsa congresses e.g. los angeles, new jersey, London, Puerto Rico…
Gilberto is part of the salsa con clave dance company, victor y gaby in mexico city and it is his firm intention to stay in europe for the next few years. He is well known for his excellent leading-technique in teaching and dancing as well as his original, crazy combinations on1 and on2.
The audience enjoys anke´s and gilberto´s salsa performances, especially their powerful salsa-quebradita shows (Mexican acrobatic dance).
gilberto has been dancing salsa since 2004. one of his first instructors was adolfo indacochea who is currently first dancer at eddie torres’ first dancer. he continued his dance training with victor & gaby where he met his dance partner anke.
